Hi all,
I was considering ordering the book "Tactical bidding" by Harold Feldheim.

Question 1

Is it a good book ?

Question 2

It is hard to find (e.g. not in Baronbarclay nor in Amazon, and even most online shops who list it as available in catalog, when you try ordering do not really have it- and they tell it to you AFTER you have ordered it ! grrrr).

Any suggestions on where to order it ? (European shops more practical, but overseas are ok anyways in absence of a better source....)

I read it. It covers a few non-standard situations, but it's more of a practical book than a discussion of pros and cons of psyching/tactical bids. You will learn something from it in the end, just probably not as much as you'd hope for. I would have to read Pottage's "Art of psychic bidding" before I could say which one I'd recommend (didn't read that one yet).

As for ordering it, it's likely to be out of print. Your best bet is probably the US amazon.com 2nd hand deals. I got Sontag's "Power Precision" that way. The dollar is weak vs the Euro, so don't worry about prices :)

Havent heard about this book. Is it a newly published one? I just bought Marshall Mile's duplicate bridge and Mollo's card play technique from a 2nd hand bookshop. It costed me only 3.5 pounds in total. Hope they have more bridge books:)
