It's always wrong to bid except for this time?

Ask for a ♥ control.

I think it would be unlucky to go down in 5♠.
If partner has upgraded his hand because of his 3 small ♥ (and ♣ void ?!) we should still be safe.

What sort of hands does partner need to open 2♠ in second seat?
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

I would like to bid 5♠ for partner to bid slam with ♥ control but have a little problem with that.
If partner has the ♥A it shouldn't matter whether we play in ♣ or ♠ or even NT. If partner has a singleton ♥ and only 4 spades clubs are better contract.

Should show similar strength as 5S,
but in case partner only holds a 4 carder,
I know which suit I want to play.

The main trouble with moving on is, that
the opponents most likely have only a
6-3 fit, i.e. we will have 2 heart loosers,
and partner does not need to hold the Ace
of spades.

I suppose I will bid 5♠ also, but I am uneasy about it.

Personally, I would have started with a 3♣ overcall rather than a double.

EDIT: On further review, this hand is just too strong to overcall 3♣. So, reluctantly, I have to agree that double is the correct action on the first round.

I want to bid 3♣, but the hand is just too good.

with 21 pts is hardly to avoid tempting bids especially when the partner show desire to step into the bidding B).
is his/her 4♠ guarantee Ace of spades ?
is 4♠ promise 8+pts and 5+ lenght ?
i would bid 5♣ and if the partner has ace somewhere in majors and control ♥, i think that he may bid 6 also, so then i can think to bid 6♠ or stay on 6♣.

Unlikely (he might have bid something before) but possible. If he didn't, you can hardly fault him for jumping to 4♠ next.

The 5-level is usually safe with the hand Frances posted, but one has to consider that partner may have stretched because of his (likely) shortage in clubs. 5♠ (no heart control) would be my call if I decide to bid again. Touch and go in my view.

5♠ looks very normal.

Partner had a free 3♠ to show some values so 4♠ should show a decent hand.
