opponents bid 1♣ (natural or balanced some range) - pass - 1♦ = hearts (equivalent to natural 1♣ - 1♥).
which is your proposed defense here? what is double? what is 1♥? double=diamonds and 1♥=takeout to hearts seems ok but pretty rudimentary. other options?

This is a popular treatment in Sweden. My defence is like this:
X = general strength, doesn't promise length in other suits; next X is T/O from both
1-lvl cue = 4-card other major & 5+minor
1NT = constructive overcall in bid suit (1C - p - 1H - 1NT = 5+H), also works for 1C - p - 1S - ?
"cue" = 9-13 w/6+H (1C - p - 1H - 2H)
2-lvl-cue = 12-16 w/6+S, natural in shown suit (1C - p - 1H - 2S)

Use ulven's except 2-level cue= weak TO. Likely 2-unbids.
Put 12-16 6-suit into X.
Put 12-16 6-suit into X.
